The sub-structure consists of visible extruded aluminium profiles, powder-coated similar to RAL 9010 (other colours also possible). The aluminium profiles are suspended from the concrete ceiling with height-adjustable threaded rods and are used to hold ceiling panels, bc cleanroom lights, fan-filter-units (FFUs) and conventional air outlets. In principle, the ceiling is designed as a linear ceiling, although a cross grid is also always possible. The standard grid dimensions are 1200 x 1200 mm, 1200 x 900 mm and 1200 x 600 mm.
The requirements of the current guidelines and standards of cleanroom technology, in particular GMP, FDA, ISPE, EN ISO 14644 and VDI 2083 are met.
